What would be involved making the brake-bias (f/r) adjustable "in-car"...?

To be honest, its probably not something I'm actually considering doing (unless its outrageously simple/cheap!), more of a point of interest. Sometimes (usually on the track) I've wished I was able to adjust the balance of the brake (between front and rear) for changing conditions and different corners. I realise this is probably a long way down the list of sensible modifications for a track AND daily-driver car, but I guess my question to the more seasoned trackers is:

- What is involved mechanically - ie what would need to be fitted (valves, servos, switchgear, dials etc)?
- What would the ballpark cost be?
- What would the actual benefit be (track and road)?

Thanks!   s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:

The proportioning valves are cheap, but you don´t need one   s:) :) s:)  ... Unless you have removed ABS and all it´s components and the brakes are too much rear biased.
