Are there any differences between the UK and Import 1ZZ engines?
Looking at replacing my 2002 UK 1ZZ, and had a quote on a 2005 Import 1ZZ 38k km and 2004 UK 1ZZ Rebuilt, £150 difference.
Curious if it's worth it.
Cheers

The import engine lacks the oil cooler/warmer water fittings, so you have to do a little re-plumbing and lose the sandwich plate on the filter housing.. IIRC that's the only difference.

So I may as well go £150 cheaper and have the Rebuilt 2004.. then no plumbing.
Just wondered if there was any more hidden power in it =]
