Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

They're supposed to be good - though I don't like the asymmetric tread pattern either, it seems like manufacturers are moving toward them again (witness the Toyo T1 Sport, which I think is what we're left with after the T1-R goes away).

Haven't tried them personally, but from what others say they're a lot like the T1-R; good grip and progressive, if a little vague about where the ultimate limit lies. (Unlike the RE040 which has good grip when new, and the first thing you know about the limit of adhesion is when you go past it)

And nowhere is selling the 225/35/17 rears ... the fronts are more expensive than the toyos too!

The only tyre i can get in my preferred sizes at the moment are Yokohama S-Drives.
Methinks hover cars are the future   s:wink:  s:wink:

Yeah baby yeah ... but not the fronts unfortunately, 16x7 rims are not friendly to the A520   s:cry:  s:cry:

i think the proxes 4 is the t1r replacement but im not sure but i have heard from other sources that the t1r is discontinued

if the proxes 4 is still current is ment to be very good if not better according to my mate who waiting for his t1r's to wear out so he can go back to the proxes 4

Anyone tried Enduro or Nankang? They look nice and price is good.

I bought a "Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine" to lose weight. I put on five stone. I blame the delicious gravy it makes.

Ditch finders. If looking at cheaper prices go jumbo, falken or nexan which come with lifetime gaurentee on puntures etc.

not getting into any arguments about tyres,  s:roll:  s:roll:  ......as you know in my previous
post and being new to driving the "2",although not to rear wheel drive....i had
bridgestones  all round when i got my "2",the rears were getting low and were
twitchy last winter.i then bought a pair of barums for my rears, these are made
by continental and if you read the tyre reviews are very good in all conditions.

not everyones favourite, because they are not known and dont have a fancy
tread pattern, but i have had no problems on both my cars and will be getting
them fitted all round on the "2" when i upgrade to 16inch rears soon...  s:twisted:  s:twisted:
