Yokonovas are not invincible

Take an unseasonally hot day, me doing 25min+ sessions, too little tyre pressure and pushing myself and car to the point that I thought using the kerbs might be a good idea (test day not a track day).

Scratch one rear Yokonova.  You think I'd learn as this is exactly how I trashed the Bridgestones.  Basically I've torn two massive holes in the tyre and both left side tyres are showing significant roll over.    s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

dont I remember you trashing the Bridgestones afterwards?  s:) :) s:)

I didn't.  I got a repairable puncture on hitting the kerb.  But it was a Sunday so had no one available to repair it.  So I fitted the Yokes then and kept the Bridgestones as the wear was not that bad on them.

I've kept the Yokes also but the rear is completely shafted.  Trying to get hold of a part worn so I have another spare set of tyres handy.
