Wheel locking nuts

On later cars Ive noticed a Magard type high security locking nut. I recently had to remove some which, as the car was a write-off, I didnt get the key nut which had been lost.
I discussed with friends in the trade, googled etc, but in the end, had to develop a method to remove without damaging the wheels.
For obvious reasons Im not going to explain, but if your stuck in that situation, PM.
