TTE Springs on Track

I'm currently planning a suspension refresh on my stock 2001 Spyder (52K miles) and am considering KYB struts with TTE springs and stiffer swaybars. This would appear to give an overall effect similar to the Sportivo kit which many people rave about (the Sportivo struts were manufactured by KYB too) for a slightly stiffer setup with reduced body roll, but which is now heavily overpriced due to discontinuation.

For those of you who have gone down this route (TTE springs etc.) - how was your car performed on trackdays?

The alternative, of course, is a set of coilovers, such as the BCs with a milder 4/6 spring-rate (which is still around twice as stiff as even the Sportivo), which would undoubtedly give a more rewarding track performance, while compromising road manners.
