Ticking and Popping

Hi all,

Couple of Q's - not too worried as a) engine is a fresh rebuild from Matt and b) I know its a damn noisy engine but ....

a) get a feint ticking noise under light acceleration when cold - normally 1st & 2nd only and appears to be from RHS of the engine (looking at it from the back)

b) just noticed today - a very slight popping when idling and cold.

Any idea's?
