What battery in the key?

I think the battery is dying in my key remote. Anyone know what type it is?

They normally just a watch battery I think mate...
Mr2 mk3 1.8vvti 01,93 mirage 1.5,94 pulsar 1.3, 00 306 2.0 hdi

If its not broke, don\'t fix it!!!!
The only way forward is sideways!!!! ;)

Open it up and read the number on the back, gonna have to open it to change anyway?

I don't know if its an urban myth, but it has been said the key could lose its settings if battery taken out for more than a minute or two.

really? is this true? anyone had any experience of this?

Mine was taken out for 40 mins when I went to buy a new battery in town. I took the battery with me.
