Thinking of buying another 2....i know where theres a 2003 silver facelift..red leather(mint)...very tidy car,full Toyota history,9 stamps in the book,just mot'd and 6 months tax...seller says it has no issues at all....straight sale at £2300....i know the obvious thing would be engine condition....anything else.

Tyres would be the obvious one to check.
Check that the CEL comes on and goes off.
Brake function too or evidence that they have been sorted.

You can check the old MOT's online for any outstanding stuff too.
