Induction system mod.(Pics added)

Car going in next week to have the BMC type carbon enclosed airbox fitted.  After discussions with my garage it's going to be mounted at the rear of the engine bay low down to channel the coldest air straight into the engine and keep it the furthest distance from the heat sources.  Standard air box set up will be removed along with the markiii pipe so look out for them in the for sale section in the near future if you're looking for them.

Do you mean the same location as the PPE ?? This is the best place for drawing cold air.

I think he means more where the AEM goes Rob, but the PPE placement is no doubt the best place.

I wasn't sure to be honest Stu, I went through the pain of different postions if you remember and certainly the PPE position (or other makes positioned the same) won hands down - especially in traffic etc.

Yes, that's where it going. I thought the battery would have to be moved but evidently not!

I was wrong then, I got confused with what 'rear of the engine bay' meant  s:) :) s:)

Been speaking to to. About this today zonda, hes told me the plans using a silicone elbow. Should work well that; slightly diff to mine as I moved battery to the front to make way for charge cooler.

Yes,  enough space for it to be fitted without moving the battery so it's all good.

Yeah ive got loads of plans now lol. Want this new spoiler ive been after for a while and I think tom is wanting to twin turbo mine now rather than stay single lol should be entertaining lol

I'd like a spoiler but cosmetic mods come after performance for me! I have a problem with my brakes that needs investigation too

I dunno what's wrong,  plenty of stuff on the pads and discs seem fine but making a terrible groaning under braking.
