light on heater dials

Whats the little light for on the center heater dial ? the MR-S doesn't have it  ,is it the alarm light ?

Linked to the immobiliser I believe. Just another flashing light like the one on the switches to the right if the steering wheel.

It is the immobiliser light.

The one to the right (or left) of the wheel is generally seen on UK models that have been fitted with a Toyota alarm system and is related to that. The light replaced  blank switch plate.
