Hi all,

I'm in the process of rebuilding all the calipers on the 2 due to the rear brake/hand brake operation being poor. The seals and pistons are all out and I have media blasted the castings to remove all the built up rust.

I was going to paint them but the clearance where the inner rear pad sits seems too tight, has anyone had their calipers zinc plated to improve the corrosion resistance? The only problem I can see is that the rear caliper contains a needle bearing that comes as part of the caliper which might be damaged during the plating.
