Kangarooing when cold

Hi,

When the engine is cold the car's throttle is very sensitive, to the point where I have to be very careful coming off the throttle and changing gear to avoid it kangarooing forward and being very 'un-smooth'. After 5/10minutes it goes away. I will do a MAF clean but other than that...any ideas?
