I have an O2 sensor to fit (its the 3rd one by the cat) however I ordered without the end connection so I have to solder it to one. Currently I have a spare manifold sensor that I was going to use the connector from. Will this work? Basically just checking if it is going to all connect up ok and that the connection to the wiring for the cat sensor is the same as the manifold ones! Cheers

Yes it will work, but the wires are notoriously hard to solder.
I would recommend you measure the heater circuit of the new sensor with a multimeter, if it's below 18 Ohms resistance then you will end up with an engine light and code stating the heater circuit is faulty.
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

Cheers for the quick response and for the advice! I will keep that in mind. If it's giving me too much grief and there are too many expletives, I'll source out a complete one!
