Searched for this in the tool bar but could not find any relevant threads.

I am having my wing mirrors wrapped next week and will need to detach them in order to do so. How easy a job is it? It can be done with them installed, but the finish will be better with them off.

Any tips? Thanks.

Take the door card off, thend it's two 10mm nuts and one plug under the dash. Getting the wire back in can be a royal pita!
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

You should see if UKtotty has any heated mirror kits left.
You are doing all the work necessary to add them, you might as well have a bonus of heated mirrors too!   s8) 8) s8)    s8) 8) s8)

From experience it is much better to do it in the warm. Panel edges hurt more when you are cold!!  s:shock:  s:shock:
