Facelift number plate mount

I'm fitting new plates to my MR2 and was wondering where the screws should go. On the old plate the screws are on the top corners, then just through the mount. Is this the correct place? Or should the go through the reenforced holes, just inboard of the larger holes where the mount attaches to the bumper? Or even the dimples towards the bottom of the mount?
