Turbo time

Today I picked up this little lot,
•Garret GT28 hybrid turbo
•PWR chargecooler
•Full stainless exhaust with catalyst
•Replacement exhaust manifold
•Replacement 440cc injectors and connector bodies
•Link G4 Storm ECU with plug-in wiring harness
•Front mounted chargecooler radiator and pump
•Chargecooler circuit hardpipes and hoses
•Foam-type induction kit
•Custom fabricated air intake piping
•HKS blow off valve
•Inlet air temperature sensor
•Reinforced silicone pipe hoses and mikalor hose clamps.
•Replacement engine sump, pre-tapped for turbo oil return
•Oil sandwich plate for turbo oil feed
•Replacement coolant hoses with Tee pieces for turbo coolant feed and return
•Small-bore vacuum hoses for ECU, BoV and wastegate actuator
It was all originally fitted by Thor Racing and has about 15k miles on it.

If its the Thor kit, it will be awesome. I had a ride in one a few years back and it was 'emotional!'

Picked up an Innovate LC-1 and XD-16 wideband today to add to the kit. Need to order a clutch and then its all there ready to have Matt fit.

The clutch (ACT Organic) is on order and the car is going in with Matt at the end of November.

I have a different car for winter, my go anywhere bus.
Fully tuned by TD5 Alive, hybrid turbo, larger intercooler, complete exhaust system, erg blanked, etc.. lets just say it goes well.

Living in the Lake District come winter the roads are either covered in snow or flooded so its a bit of a must, plus the green lanes are also a bit of fun.

Got it all ready for Matt, dropping it all of next weekend.

and made a couple of gauge pods for all the extra gauges.

Also painted the steering wheel with a special leather paint.

Hi mate, love your gauge pods, Im new on here but thought its a good place to let people know wot I DO! I build bespoke turbo systems and now im specializing in mr2 spyder's, my own is now putting out some good power (320 ish) and will soon be in the 450-475 ball park  s:D s:D  is yours up and running yet ? were did you get your act clutch from ? and how much do you sell them pods for!!!

My car is still with Matt Lee who is fitting the turbo, I am due to collect it on Wednesday next week.

The pods are a one off I built up to go with the turbo kit, never thought of selling them. The pillar pod cost me about £60 to make and the centre pod about £50 plus my time.
