Quote from: "Roger H"Rich did the run. I believe his surname is Fenton. Isn't he one of the owners?
I think he is.

Quote from: "Roger H"I did remember to say "Hi" to Curtis for you,but as I don't know your real name he couldn't remember you!!!
Sorry Roger, my name is Sean... when you go back down there, tell him I'm the guy with the black '2 that had alarm trouble - twice!   s:? :? s:?

BTW, what seriously cool motors were in the yard? Whenever I've been, there's usually a few modded Scooby's, Skylines, various Type R's....

Unfotunately the part of their system that records the extra information has let them down twice and they are changing the software instead of paying again to have it fixed. I didn't know this so hadn't asked for the information to put on the print-out by hand and Rich Fenton can't now remember the detail. BOLLOCKS!!!!!!!!!
Of course what you say is spot on, so I am hoping to get TWO runs out of them next time for the price of one.

Ok,

Heres the METAR report from Gloucester airfield for Saturday.

EGBJ 190920Z 18010KT 9999 FEW015 SCT025 21/15 Q1016=

EGBJ is the code for Gloucester airfield, 190920Z is the date and time, i.e. the 19th of the month at 09:20. The Z indicates the time is GMT, so the local (BST) time would be 10:20am

18010KT indicates wind direction and speed, in this case 180 degrees (southerly) at 10 Knots.

9999 indicates visibility, in this case 10000 metres or more.

FEW015 SCT025 is the cloud conditions (its an airport remember?) this indicates a few clouds at 1500 feet, and scattered cloud at 2500 feet.

21/15 is the air temperature and dew point temperature. Here its 21 degC , and a dew point of 15 DegC. From this you can calculate relative humidity as 69%

Q1016 is the Barometric pressure - 1016mBar...

One other thing, the air pressure given in these reports is the QNH sea level air pressure, but seeing as Gloucester is more or less sitting on the Severn there wont be a great deal of difference...

Grant

Thats bloody fantastic information  s:!: :!: s:!:    s:!: :!: s:!:

I know that you have to work this weekend, which is a great pity. There are several guys whom I was looking forward to meeting but are not going.

Whatever it is you do I'm very greatful for your knowledge and access to the data. I have taken a print-out to keep with the power run one.

Regards,
