Winter tyre wear / geometry check

I shod my mr2 with Michelin Aplins all round at the end of October, hoping they would see me through the winter but the rear 215 45 16 tyres are now spent, that's not even three months usage and less than 5000 miles.
I enjoy driving the car (which is unmodified) and the tyres are brilliant on the wet roads but surely two sets of rear tyres per winter is a bit excessive.
I had a full geometry check and I was hoping someone on the forum could interpret the data for me to see if it reveals a problem other than my spirited driving.

Spirited driving will do it, plus driving when it's warm (15 degrees) just melts the compound.
Mine have stood up well.

They must have been used tyres, to wear in a season?

Does anyone happen to know if these settings are the same for JDM 2's?

I have had exactly the same problem with mine - new boots on 29th September, completely worn smooth now, after 5000 miles. I'm taking it back in for a full geometry check but the guy at the tyre place suggested I try and get the correct settings beforehand. He said it looked like it was toeing in, just on a visual inspection.

Not sure why they would be different for JDM Imports.

Thanks for the replies.
Is it worth having the geometry adjusted front and rear. The garage wants 100 quid.
Probably worth it if I keep ripping through Alpins at about 200 quid a corner.
The front tyres still look brand spankers.

Is the wear uneven? If not I'd argue it's probably your driving and the lack of really cold weather this year

£200 a corner?! So you've burned through £400 worth of tyres in less than 5000 miles?   s:shock:  s:shock:

There was a set on here for £150 I think (part worn)
I'm happy with my Falkens at about £70 a pop

Looks like to much toe at the rear. This would cause a elevated wear.
Ex 2GR-FE roadster. Sold it. Idiot.  Now Jaguar XE-S 380. Officially over by the bins.

Also this might be helpful for anyone who needs rear Alpins (£130 for FL)
