Hey all,

I'm wondering if you guys have seen anything like this.

I was leaving my parking spot like any other day when I suddenly heard a loud "pop" and my steering went stiff.
Luckily I was still at home so I checked everything and it all looked normal from the outside. For some odd reason I decided to open up the ecu casing and saw this.

Any ideas as to what could have caused it? Thanks!

Not seen that hapen before, my guess would be they've been overloaded by something mechanical ... maybe the pump has siezed.
Nice to see the numbers are still present on them so you can buy replacements   s:D :D s:D
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

Fairly common Power-FET's so should be able to replace them as Nic says. Probable cause is either motor seized or full of carbon & copper dust so it's shorted out.

First port of call is strip the motor assembly, clean and check for shorts.
