no not THAT incident! It's because of the [strike:6z1ofzp4]community service[/strike:6z1ofzp4] ticking off over the accident with the ferret and the 10mm deep socket

So far it's taken around 6 litres of coolant.. So by my calculations it's due another 3-4 litres.. But it's getting late to be revving and driving up and down the street so going to have to finish tomorrow

Quote from: "Andys-N20"If you are lucky enough to live near a steep hill park with the nose pointing uphill and no need to clamp the pipes swap out the rad, spin the car around and then you can bleed it. That's what I always do.
Bleeding it can be a nightmare sometimes.
Thats easy for you to say, your driveway is perfect   s:) :) s:)  , try living in hull, flat as a pancake   s:( :( s:(    s:( :( s:(

You need also to run the heater hot to
See if there no air lock.

If there a air lock the heater wont come on
Or get hot.

To get rid of the air lock you undo the radiator cap
And goto the coolent bottle undo that cap and blow
Hard in the coolent bottle untill air bubbles out of
The radiator......(dont drink the coolent use a cloth to
Protect your mouth/face )))))

Worked for me any way....,

Congratulations you saved £££££ from a shop mac
[size=85]These are the dreaded code your get with cheap 02 sensors.
P0135 drivers side position. (o2 sensor heater malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1)
P0155 passengers side position. (o2 sensor heater malfunction (bank 2 sensor 1)

Alas there is no radiator cap  s:) :) s:)

Only two little taps on the top left and bottom right and a bleeder valve by the front wall.

True but the principal still applies.
Park with the rad pointing downhill (lowest point), take the coolant cap off the reservoir and loosen the bleed screw on the top of the rad. The water will naturally flow downhill pushing the air out.
Personally I would not put my mouth anyware near the coolant as I believe the chemicals in coolant can result in blindness and brain damage.
This is an old thread so you must have sorted it out?
Hope so
