Brakes

Can anybody tell me are the back plates on the brakes an integral part of the hub assembly or do they bolt on seperately? Haven't got the chance to look underneath yet  but I do know that one of the rear back plates is severely corroded.

They are separate and available to buy.......quite awkward to fit though as i'm guessing the hub and bearing has to come apart,i have a set to fit to my Rav,seems quite a big job,some people cut them through where the caliper would be to make fitting simpler.

Thanks for that. Had a look a bit earlier and one of the back ones is virtually non existent.
