How's it going?

I ended up getting a k&n apollo, some silicone hoses (got wrong sizes at first!) and will be using Patrick's 3D printed MAF adaptor. (For 2zz swap)

Have you fitted it yet? I'm held up waiting on my MAF adapter   s:evil:  s:evil:

Sorry to revive an old thread but I thought it'd save repeating the subject really....  s:roll:  s:roll:

I'm looking to do this but can't seem to find the right k and n filter on ebay as they only list outer diameter in inches   s:? :? s:?   Has does anyone know which one will fit?

Also found a universal apexi filter..... comes with metal flange outside diameter 76mm ..... I'm guessing I'd need a rubber reducer or would it fit onto the cut airbox?

70mm internal diameter is what fits on the stock maf. So 45deg pipe needs to be 70mm internal as well. 2.75inches

The one I used:

For making this. Worked very well. Position behind battery

Fairplay that looks nice.....

What's the quality of the filter like? And sound wise? As loud as the others?

I now have this very kit fitted to my car (bought from shnazzle) and it's great. Well recommended.
Black W reg standard - Gone
Sable 06 Reg turbo - staying forever

If I were to add up how much I'd spent on my car, I still wouldn't be able to afford a new Vauxhall Corsa - And I know which one I'd rather have...

I used araldite to attach it but I reckon any good sealant would do (free to corrections) just made sure I used plenty to give it a nice air tight seal. I'm pretty sure the maf sits in the right position but again can't be 100%

This setup will be changed soon to give a direct feed from the side vent  s:) :) s:)

looks nice
