Hi all,
is there anything I need to know before I replace my 3 amigo studs? I'm thinking they should have a bit of loctite on them?

Thanks

Firstly they WILL be tight. A long bar helps.

Use plenty of plusgas on them in advance of them being removed.
Mine rounded/rusted so id consider marking sure you have a set of Urwins available just in case and personally id get replacement nuts and bolts. At least one of mine was destroyed when removed.
They should not need loctite on them due to the nature of the nuts that hold everything in place. They are unlikely to ever come undone and you don't want to give yourself an even harder time should you even need to undo them again.

thanks Nathan,
the nuts came off ok especially the first time. I've had to take the manifold off again because it was leaking through the bottom joint. this time 2 of the studs came out with the nuts so will need to be replaced as well. All new nuts going on this time as well.

And now the thread is fooked in one of the holes for the amigo studs. Going to have to take it to work and clean it up. More delays.   s:x :x s:x
