Backbox under stress!!

When moving off in 1st and changing up to 2nd,  the exhaust sounds like there is a chain "pull through" being applied to the pipe !! - Question is - Is it time to rip out the back box and re-place?  s:? :? s:?

Sound like what happened to me last summer... sounded like a chain but was the heatshield under the manifold
