white smoke when engine cold

Is it normal to have white smoke (when idling and engine cold) on these cars? Noticed it this morning and tonight when I drovehome from work, was gone when engine heated up.

It's called steam, which is water condensing in air.
Quite normal in cooler conditions with a cold engine, the result of burning fossil fuels is H2O and CO2.
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

Thanks I thought the same. My audi tt used to do it even after 8 miles or so
