Struts

I'm getting both my front struts changed on thursday after reporting them creaking when it went in for it's 20k service last week.
Has anybody else had this problem?

Also, my power steering packed up again a few weeks ago and it's already had one power steering pump fitted last year, it only stopped working once and after it was re-started there have been no problems since!
