Mot advisory handbrake efficiency at 16%. Almost have to pull it vertical to stick. Easy fix?

I'm afraid your prolly about to get flamed about using the search!

It will either be adjustment at the leaver end, very easy, or more complex as the self adjusters aren't working, which is what I'd put my money on.

Resetting the self adjusters isn't too bad but some people struggle. Mine don't seem to be self adjusting that well, after each track day my handbrake lever gets a lot higher!
