If you want a drive in - driveout service the only people now are Thor Racing  m http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/shop/produ ... earch=mr-s m
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

have many people on here used them/ like the idea of a drive in drive out. At nearly 6k would i need furhter mods after this to handle the power? that price is approaching my limit

You can't still buy the TTE turbo kit it was discontinued a while ago.

I looked at the whifbitz kit and they seem a good company. You would be better buying the car on eBay which has the whifbitz kit already fitted and then installing to your car. Much cheaper option.

It would just need a boost controller and uprated clutch to see 220-230bhp

The redline kit is the same as sp kit and again no longer availble.

If Thor still availble and you want big power focus on that one.

P.s I've had a number of turbo kits and anything around 200bhp won't disappoint

emailed me dealer got this response
"Most of the TTE parts thata we were able to sell in this country were Alloy wheels and Lowering Springs.   These were supplied to TGB by TMME (Toyota Europe), but I cannot remember any Turbo Kits being available.

It might be worth contacting Toyota Motorsport ( w www.toyota-motorsport.com w ) or a Toyota Centre in Europe who maybe able to get the kits."

Who can blame you. Boost is so addictive. Boost is like crack,  but more expensive.

You know there's a whifbitz kitted roadster on ebay for £3.5k? I think it was on the for sales here too. Gotta be a cheaper option? I'm in no way affiliated.

Thanks. Not a lot of power for the money, in my opinion.

The car seems quite reasonable value all things considered

That's it,  if I hadn't just bought this pe turbo, I'd probably have be seriously considering that. Add a second hand charge cooler and some bigger injectors and remap. Probably needs a grand spending on it and be over 200hp.  (Guesstimate, I know nothing of the kit, what turbo etc)

Wonder if it's worth waiting for an mr2 to come up for sale with a turbo and transplanting.

Some of the more experienced MR2 owners would say thats the cheapest option.
You could weight a while.
If you see an SP or a TTE grab with both hands.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I think that's what I'll do. I'm just a little worried about the engine itself. I'd almost want a rebuild before putting it on. Or at least have it re-seated, honed, cleaned etc
