Quote from: "loadswine"Bracing to the Roadster was altered in 04, and stayed the same until production end as far as I know.

Pretty sure it was upgraded in 2005. My 54 plate has the standard facelift bracing, not the revised set-up.

There's a listing in the reference section detailing the exact changes and what year they were made.
Custard Tart of the Urban Custard Collective
Yellow '00 - Frenzy style bar, TD Type LED spoiler, H&S quad exhaust, Zero manifold, Markiii Pipe, Toyo Proxes T1-Rs, Matt Brace, front brace.

if your talking about the x brace, huge difference as its just a copy of the TTE

only thing better is the Corky one from the US, which are I beleive still available
Gallardo Spyder
Ex Midnight Blue 911 T4S
EX VXR220
Ex Custom Turbo 2001 Sahara Sun MR2 Roadster 269bp, 240lbft

MR2ROC Committee 2002 - 2009

Just to be clear, the one Markiii is referring to is the full member brace (not the breast plate - which is not as good as the TTE brace). I agree that the Corky full member brace performs even better but only by a little and at FIVE times the price (delivered UK) the bangs for your buck are actually nowhere near as good!

I fitted one to my 04' roadster at the weekend - all i can say is WOW!

can definitely feel the difference, stiffens up the car quite a bit!

Haven't had a chance to really feel the difference at speeds round corners due to the weather but felt more stable in a straight line at higher speeds.

In general the front end now feels like its attached to the rest of the car ^.^

Can't comment on FL cars, or other types of brace, but I fitted Matt's brace to my 2000 PFL car and COULD NOT BELIEVE THE IMPROVEMENT !!! Single best mod pound for pound and EVERYONE should do it.

Keep hearing a lot if positive things about these braces. Is this something I can fit myself ie the bolt holes are there or is it a specialist job?

very easy job, its the rear lower aftermarket braces that are a pain.

Matt has got about six of these left if you contact him.

Is this a more recent update than last weekend? When I asked him on Sunday he was all out.
