Roof adjustments

I think it's been a while since I asked one of my stupid questions, so here goes:
Is it possible to adjust the sides of the roof? I seem to have developed a bit of a gap at the back of the passenger door. Right at the bottom, the roof doesn't seem to meet the rubber properly. I'm sure it did when it was fitted. I'm getting an annoying wind noise there, and it leaks a bit when I hit it with water from the hose while I'm washing it   s:( s:(  
The other side is a nice tight fit, and the fabric goes into the guides properly (Ray cuts it slightly oversize on purpose, for a better fit).
I can't work out if it has lost some tension, or the whole thing has moved round slightly??

Oh, and another thing, how much of a pita is it to remove the black trim at the back of the roof where it meets the bodywork? I have the usual marks and I'd like to repaint it.
