On my 2001 roadster there isn't the long piece of plastic... bought one from toyota yesterday but where does it bolt to!?

There's about 5 (I think) rectangler holes underneath etc but the holes in the lip don't line up...

Thanks

I have one of these to put on my car too. May have had it for a while.

Anyone got a fl front bumper lying about so we can check the positioning?

Here in the USA, one can buy really big plastic rivets (1" head, 3/8" shaft) that are very similar to the standard Toyota 'clips', except for their enormous size.  I used them to attach the "chin spoiler" used on later cars to both my 2000 and 2001 Roadsters.  It worked wonderfully.

I don't know if these will help. I had my phone in my hand, but it's not an easy spot to photograph:

Iirc, it actually attaches to the under-tray rather than the bumper itself?

The part number for the 2000-2002 Roadster under-lip spoilers is 76851-17010,  'Spoiler'.
Unlike the pictures so far displayed, it has five (not 4) attachment points.

Assuming that the gigantic plastic rivets ('clips') are available in the UK:
Simply drill holes in the bumper cover (facia), and attach the spoiler ('air dam') with the over-sized 'clips'.
Drill the holes gradually, starting small & enlarging them one step at a time.
Do the hole at the centre of the air-dam first.  Slowly enlarge it until the air-dam can be attached via one of the gigantic 'clips'.  Do the other four holes in a similar manner, from the centre outward.
If your Porsche is not anhydrous, there IS a substitute.
