Hi Guys

I own a 2 on adjustable coilovers and the ride is BUMPY to say the least.i just want to get an overall opinion of what are my options?

i could change all struts and springs back to stock, but i have seen that the struts are quite expensive and i do like the low look.

Could i put standard springs on the coilovers?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as i think its about to put my back out  s:lol:  s:lol:

Cheers

Having owned and swapped suspension on both the front shocks certainly wouldn't (different design at the bottom how they mount the rears are a similar looking design but no idea if they would be interchange able. Doubt it as would have guested the mx5 rears were shorter too. (Maybe the shock inserts inside the shock body's could be used if these are removable on both?)

You won't be able to fit stock springs to aftermarket coilovers, the spring seat will most likely be the wrong size and the damping rates incompatible. You may be able to get softer springs for the coilovers from the manufacturer. Alternatively, if your coilovers are in good order, you could buy a set of lowering springs and new KYB shocks and pick up a set of use top mounts, then sell the coilovers to recoup some cash.

Which manufacturer?
Have you adjusted the damping?
I find sometimes being set to soft can be as bad as too hard.

The other question is what wheels? Heavy aftermarket wheels with low profiles can play havoc with the ride.

Very good point Chris.
