Got to dream big! Currently replacing all control arms etc stuck on locating a wishbone bolt! Seems this car has had a little ding om the O/S front wheel and bent a few things!

UPDATE #1

Currently covered 250 miles in the volvota! all is well, no knocking, quite thirsty and an absolute animal @ 15psi (stock is 9psi) which has made me revaulate the actual ammount of power I want for it to be my ultimate street car, this is not going to be a drag queen, dyno king or for drift .... it's a street car! So dropping my power goal by 100bhp but keeping the same ammount of torque (or a little bit more??)

so after much umming and aaaring I've decided to bin the GT35 turbo route and go for a volvo 19T by Mamba.

There are three reasons for this.

1. This turbo is capable of 450bhp and spools phenomenally quick.
2. It is a direct bolt on, so no need to modify water lines or oil lines!
3. Space is an issue, as well as heat soak with the GT35, so this solves everything!

So my revised goal is 400wbhp and 400ft/lb (+/-50) after driving it in near stock form ... it's crazy, an absolute animal!

Anyone after a GT35 PM me, I'm letting it go silly cheap!

Love the sound of this conversion! 5 pot engines are the best sounding IMO. Still miss the noise my V5 Toledo made.

Any ballpark figures for conversion costs?
