Hi I have finally found where the water is coming in on the passenger footwell. This area is just behind all the wires. Water is coming in and flooding the footwell.

Can i take the black off and seal it?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Remove the plastics under the frunk and have a look for any blocked drainage channels would be where I would look first. Could also be drains blocked around window seals.

Cheers i will do that when it stops raining. Non stop here in wales. Loads of water coming in. You mean the pillar seals or the actual door? Thanks!

He said frunk plastics.
Which is the front luggage/tyre compartment.
Be careful not to brake to many plastic clips.
Good idea to check under there once in a while.
Get a bit of grease on your steering UJ whilst there. They rust to f***!

Thanks! I just poured water down the side of the frunk plastic and yes some went in to the car and some left though the drainage area correctly so its just a case of taking it all off on a dry day.

Any images of the area without the frunk plastics? I have a rough idea of what i am looking for.

So i just took this of the same area again. It looks like it may go in to the wing. I have looked at frunk images without the plastic and its hard to see if i can access the area to where the water falls from the drains and out of the car.

Leak is def coming in when water passes through the frunk drain holes.

Is it a wing off job to seal it or can you get at it behind the plastics from the top?

Sorry for so many posts but should i go in via the wheel arch maybe as i assume the drains come out here?

Years ago I owner an XR2 I found water getting in through the bulkhead. There are small gaps between panels that were blocked with leaves and dust. Found the culprit by gently pouring water in the windscreen wiper area, the water was building up due blockages then spilling into car through vents.

Yeah def coming in. Its when i pour just in front of the windscreen trim in the corner it is going down somewhere in there and then coming in that gap in the cabin. Just trying to work out if i go in via the top under the plastic or from under via the arch.

I tried reaching my hand in the gap inside the car but it goes up too far to work out where it comes out.

The wings unbolt fairly easy. Or jack car up, remove wheel and inner arch. Give yourself plenty of time in daylight.

I am stumped i took part of the arch off and that area of the dash is not behind it. Can you access the frunk drain area from anywhere?

The images of the frunk plastic removed dont seem to showbthe drain area.

Please help
