So, when I come to fit my MeisterR coilovers will I need spring compressors to remove any preload on the stock strut springs before removing the lower mounting bolts?

Many thanks.

Edit: sorry you mean when removing stock struts. No there is no need, when you jack it up, undo lower two bolts but leave them in, then undo top three nuts, pull the bolts out from the bottom. And voila, the whole strut just slips out. Remember to undo brake line and abs before hand  s:) :) s:)

Thanks Josh, that helps a lot,I had a feeling that I wouldn't need them but thought that I'd better check.

Took me about an hour a corner and I put braided brake lines aswell

You'll probably spend another few hours trying to get it sitting just right though

As stated above no compression of the Spring is required,  following the above advice you will be absolutely fine.
