I'm really chuffed that you got it sorted. These cars are all getting old now, so there will always be bits and pieces to do, which, for me, is part of the fun.

They do return the effort in entertainment value.

All the lights come on and everything. If this is sorted all I need to sort is the cloudy headlamps, scratches on glovebox, rattle from the stereo area console, windscreen chip, the crap that's accumulated in the fog lamps, paint peeling off bumper and.... I think that's it!

Should be a stunner once sorted s:)

Cloudly lights. A good few posts on here how to sort these. Often requires plenty elbow grease or bottle if attacking with machines.

As above Steve at D1 can also sort these out for you.

I used a Quixx kit on the headlights, an hour's work and a nice result. I got tales of woe about it needing doing again after 6 weeks but I think it will be more like 6 months.

I'm getting my bumper resprayed along with fog lights replacing and a new 'Midship Runabout' Badge ( I don't know whether to get black or red! Even though red ones are impossible to find ). Should be getting the headlights cleaned out anyway. If they fog up again I'll give this a try.

Wish I was coming to Ding Day, being a new member it would be really good, but prior commitments with family I'm afraid. Before 11am sounds good, looks like they don't open until 12 so no coffee at that time.
