Disconnecting the lambda sensors

It might be a silly question but how do you disconnect the pre cat lambda sensors. I dont want to bust anything.

can be fiddly. esp if not been touched. Just need to apply pressure to release the clip so the grey plug and socket seperate.

Sounds easy and should be, but can take bit of fiddling with. MAy need a slim narrow flat blade screwdriver to help with the clip

Sorry Ardent, I have tried but cant get them to separate, not without marking the plugs. Have you got a photo of the two parts separated so I can see what is holding them together.

personally no, but if you type in something along the lines of denso oxygen sensor connector into google images. you will work it out as you know what they look like.

They are the same as any other electrical connector in the car - have a look at something you can get to to see how they work.

You should just be able to squeeze and pull - though as noted you may need a small flat screwdriver if it is full of dirt etc.
