I've seen belt breakages on similar sized engines that resulted in loose bits in the cylinder and holes in pistons.

Nappy on, rear strut brace on, suspension torqued, interior assembled, washed, and two jollies up the hill and back (staying in phone reception, and dressed for the cold just in case) and now all ready for his late afternoon date with a certain Ms MOT tomorrow... Good grief it purrs!

I'm doing my best to be patient after what happened last time....
Today will be a quick trip to get some more petrol and then onto the MOT station... might go straight there actually depending on timing..

So long as it's not mechanical.... one of the many heat shields?

Pretty sure it's not mechanical as it's only at certain rpm and when I let off...

I'll have a look doing the shielding....

Looking forward to taking the hardtop off and then putting summer wheels back on when the temp averages over 10c...

Yeah only prob is the bolt is broken off inside...

I've bent the shielding out the way so it can't touch anything...will see if that resolves it!
