300bhp very unlikely on that turbo I recon it would be flat out at 270.

For that money it seems good value.
If in good condition.

Same amount as I got for my forged 3SGTE with gearbox! Crazy!

I dont disagree but i think your 3SGTE was under valued and it isnt exactly a simple job to get it in a mk3. For a mere mortal anyway. We all know you do engine swaps in your sleep Lee.

There are actually 3 turbo kits up for sale at the moment... The other ones are the half built power enterprise one, and then Laura's one (assuming it's not yet been sold).

Why would you ebay it if you can sell it here for nothing?

I think the scary thing is the whole"untested" bit.... Could just be money down the drain if none of it works??
You'd more than likely need a new manifold, and I don't know what the true state of the turbo is...

The turbo itself is worth a few hundred quid on its own by the time you add emanage and harness its got be up to 500.
All the rest is free.
You dont need a fuel pressure reg or fuel return.
If you want a turbo its worth a punt imho.

Why not just do it yourself buy a manifold and turbo and get the parts you want for it. Thats what I am doing but ended up with a spare manifold and turbo

Just been thinking, would the turbo from a Renault 5 GT Turbo work? I have a brand new Hybrid in the Garage somewhere from when I had a GT-T
Think its a T28 of some description

As Scott said the ecu alone is half that value, at that price it would be silly not to use it as a starting point.
