Hello
I want to show car i bought over 1 year ago and whole way to present form.
It`s w30 facelift 2005.
Hardtop, air conditioner, lsd. Rest stock.

And i started to learn that car on tracks.

I started to change:
Tyres yokohama ad08r
Lower springs
Motul rbf660
Brake pads (front ferrodo 2500) (rear EBC yellow pad)
Steel brake hoses
Whiteline sway bars
Whiteline camber bolts

And i was driving almost whole year that setup

Then i changed seats.
Seats from Toyota gt 86 are about 8kg heavier but more comfortable with better holding.

We cut orginal mounts and weld to gt86 rails.

cons:

-2cm higher seat

And oil cooler

Now i know that it was not enough for motul v300 5w30.

After 1 year we decided to go futher.
I bought corolla ts with bemani supercharger.

Checking engine.
Compression

1zz oil pan

Some new stuff

Lift bolts

Spark plugs

Cooler thermostat:

Checking head:

Checking clerances

Cleaning engine

And checking oil after. Everything OK

Intake insulation

Starting swap

Bemani intercooler

Magnuson MP90

Oil bonnet from 1zz to 2zz

Ori clutch

New intercooler setup

First try

Gearboxes

mr2 had c66 + lsd. Corolla c54 no lsd
Both was unmounted and mounted again.

c64 + lsd

Differences in shifter shafts

So gearbox in mr2 looks like:
Main body c64 + front case, shifter shaft and lsd from c66

And step by step

2zz inside

And of course 1zz in fake ts:

Again ic

Aditional air ventilation rear hood

Rear suspension bar was welded. And prepared for more place for sc.

Some interior parts:
Alcantara steering wheel

And aditional "clocks" place

There will be AFR, EGT, oil temp.

Rear bumper.

1zz oil pan

Exhaust 2x2,5"

First run:

Great build, must be a lovely car to drive  s:) :) s:)

Where did you get the larger bore oil suction pipe, is it a Toyota pipe?

Also, what are the fins on the outside of the sump for?

It's not finished yet. So i cant tell about drive right now.

1. It's toyota suction pipe but with spacer 4mm.
Normally there is smaller hole. We cut it off for better oil flow.

2. Fins are for cooling.
I had some troubles with cooling because nearest race track is technical.
There are alot corners. Im using 90% time 2nd gear.

"this isn't optimal... Get the angle grinder and welder! "

I love it.  That's proper car modification

Really like the seat rail modification!
Could you provide more details on this? Do you have a template for cutting?

@jvanzyl
Belive me You dont need tutorial! Its very simple.
You need driller and welder only.
1. Drill tack welds in rails to detach mounts.
2. Screw mounts in orginal places.
3. FIt gt86 seats to mounts.
4. Weld!
5. Well done.

@shnazzle
You can use paperclips and bubble gum instead.

@MR TWO

Nic is happy we can all rest easy.
Well done.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

We finished intake.
Now ECU time.

We finished project already.
There was some trouble but most of them solved.

Stock ECU, stock injectors  s;) ;) s;)

High range will be better but we didnt remove that 1" part of intake before air filter,
and second think intake blown during dyno.
Noting serious silicon tube before IC.

WOW! More than 300bhp! Would be amazing to see what that car could do a 1/4 mile in?

culmen

#22
Wrong just 233hp@7500. Suppose a litle bit more on the top.
There was alot problems on dyno. We didnt check after "repair" intake.
Not tested yet.
Just going track 19.03
