Did you try pressing "Back"? Sometimes your browser will keep the contents of a field in cache if you mistakenly move onto the next page prematurely.

When I'm doing a long one, I do it in word, then copy and paste.  saves on the eff-ups.

I feel your pain mate. THe number of times I've written up a huge post and then clicked the wrong button somewhere...

Also, I tend to add images after the text has been submitted. It's my innate distrust of IT.
