It must have been a telephone MOT it would of been picked up in July surely.

That is not good. I would think you were very lucky and it is no wonder it felt awful to drive. At least you can put it right and know it's right before you put even more power through it

If you need my old subframe you're welcome to it. It's not 100% but it has no actual holes in it! And if it's getting notched etc it can be re-inforced anyway.

That's horrible. Exactly why I did mine - peace of mind.

Personally I think it needs to be yellow. Scottie keeps saying the car has yellow 'accents' but I'm really not seeing it - it needs more yellow if it's not to be some plain-jane black car.

Long story short. Best part of £2k.
New subframe obviously.
Extensive wire brushing cleaning welding waxoyl and underseal. MOT failure.
New exhaust. Has no Cat MOT failure again and its fubar anyway.
Various other bits and pieces.
Epic fail.

I dont know how people can sell a car knowing these issues, i refuse to take it that the previous owner didn't know. Be interested to check who did the previous MOT's aswell.

Bloody hell. that is def the worst we have seen. But glad you're getting it sorted.
