Just read the great DIY by shnazzle for the clutch change -  l viewtopic.php?f=47&t=61540 l

How much different is it to do it on a 2ZZ converted roadster?

At the moment we've got the subframe off, back bumper, exhaust off, intake hosing and battery out for other jobs the car needs doing. Need to get the OS driveshaft out as there's a leaking CV boot so thought we might as well carry on and get the gearbox out as it needs to be sent for a synchro + bearing refurb. (Have a new clutch and flywheel ready to go as well.)

Any pointers?

I can't see any immediate differences. Starter motor is in the same place. So is the clutch slave. The relative engine mounts are the same. Gear cables same.
...neutiquam erro.

Ok that's promising. Waiting to hear back from a couple of transmission specialists to see whether they would prefer the gearbox out or in the car for diagnosing and testing after repairs. Some have said they wouldn't warranty the work if we refit the box.
