Wire from engine compartment

I am wondering if it's easily possible to feed a wire into the cabin from the engine compartment via the same route as the gear selector/handbrake cables and under the centre console/armrest.

Can anyone tell me so I can avoid taking the centre console out to have a look?

Thanks

The handbrake and gear cables run around/over the fuel tank. If you go via the cables in the corners, and under the luggage compartment it's much easier. A thin cable can even be fed along under the door frame plastics.

OK, thanks very much, I assume this means removing the luggage compartment plastics?

I've been trying to remember exactly where they come through... If you look right in the corner of the engine compartment, you should be able to see where the loom feeds through. I used a Philips screwdriver to prise the grommet open and fed the supply for my sub through that way.
