O2 Sensor heater wires colours

Can anyone tell me the colour of the wire(s) on the sensor plug you put a resistor across to extinguish the engine management light

In my limited experience the heater wires are the same colour. Depending on the brand of sensor they may be white, black or grey, but the 2 wires the same colour are the heater part. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
