Hi All,

I have a front strutbrace fitted to the MR2, but as I didn't want to cut the frunk plastics, I took the whole thing out, the so called "dirty install".  Maybe it's just me but there seems to be more road noise.
Handling wise - definitely feel an improvement and worth the small effort.

Anyone any experience on whether the frunk plastics provide a bit more sound insulation from road noise?  Maybe I should go that extra and refit the frunk plastics?

Advice appreciated before I start hacking things to pieces if I don't need to!

Cheers.

Front strut brace is an excellent upgrade. Maybe buy another cover from a breaker and hack that one?
You can get some very neat installs... some people manage to get away with very thin cuts even covering the top mount somehow.

I started hacking mine up after running a "dirty install" for over a year and I failed miserably so I would definitely recommend John's suggestion

As for road noise, nope haven't noticed.
