Not in a position to actually buy at the moment, but for future plans. Been looking at koni shocks, the particular ones i was looking at were advertised for 00 to 2004 cars, im sure i read somewhere that the suspension was raised about the later date.  So i wonder if they are not really suitable for later cars.  I would be using them with lowered tein springs, which i have already bought, so perhaps they would do. Wonder if any one else uses these and has any advice. I know i should contact seller but as i said not ready to buy yet, if indeed i do.  thank you..

I'm not 100% on this but I'm fairly sure that the shocks were the same across the board mate.

I thought the konis are the inserts where you have to drill out your old shock and fit them in rather than just the normal way of replacing the whole unit?

Most people run KYB shocks when refreshing their suspension and they will work with normal springs or lowering springs and are the cheapest too.

If shocks all the same then i can forger about that, Yes the konis are inserts (used them before, no worries) but i can get 2 full kyb shocks for the price of one koni insert, just thought adjustability on the rebound might be nice, will probably look at the kyb,s

People who have used them have been very happy.
Who knows if they would have been just as happy with new stock shocks.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

It's wrong but it is funny....

I am in no way inferring that people are like dogs or that they can't tell the difference between stock/koni suspension!

That's very funny.[emoji28]
You are indeed not inferring it.
You're implying it [emoji12]
