15 Years on & still in love!

My black 04 Roadster will have its 15th birthday on 4th June to coincide with my Silver Wedding Anniversary 

I remember picking it up from Inchcape Toyota Burton Upon Trent on a wet and dreary day and loving driving it home thinking that I had won the lottery.  The car was completely standard with red cloth seats and absolutely no modifications.  Now 15 years on I now have the car exactly as I want it - I'll start a Readers Ride on how I got it to where it is now in due course 

Having passed the MOT with no advisories this week and getting my TTE exhaust rattle fixed by Rogue Motorsport I went out for a roof down run around the lanes of North Warwickshire, Staffordshire & West Leicestershire this afternoon.  What a blast - I still love this car after all this time, probably even more so now & it seems to be going better than ever.  Here are some photo's to show what I'm in love with 

I'm happy to say that I can say the same about my wife after 25 years, but she had probably cost me more than the car has over the years

Nice one...hopefully it will outlast me as it's been garaged all its life, doesn't go out in the wet and has had the underneath fully treated.

I am being nice to Jane, as we will be docking in Iceland for our anniversary on a cruise to Norway & Iceland.  A celebration meal had been booked and the champagne is on ice
