Will try to start the V6 up today are her laying dormant for 6+months.

Have a new battery as the 3 year old toyota one won't work.
Have ten fresh litres of fuel to put in her.

Anything I need to think or worry about?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

As Carolyn said.
In my " dotage" I have left my 2  for 6 months at a time for the last nine years and each time it's started immediately. But then having the experience of my many years  I do keep the battery charged up.

Battery cables too tight around the joke that is supposed to be battery tray. They've worn through the insulation.
No wonder this car has given me grief.
Great workmanship don't you think.

In no way is that acceptable. Unfortunately, in my experience, short cuts and bad practices are not uncommon in many trades and situations.
